Often, printers tend to go offline when the house WiFi passwords are reset.

To rectify this issue yourself, here is a quick guide to connecting your Samsung Xpress M3870 (and equivalent models) to the house WiFi network.

For the final setup step, you want to select the Wizard option - this lets the printer detect all available WiFi networks in the area. You’ll need to select the “Red” network for managed WiFi networks using Meraki. The password for this network should be provided to you by IT. For unmanaged networks (not using Meraki), you’ll need to select the “mds_wifi” network. The password for this network (unless otherwise specified by IT) is “supercake76” (without quotation marks).
